A full week of events each March, including
Senior Citizen Day, homemaking and livestock show and auction,
photography show, carnival and rodeo. When the weekend comes,
100 of the areas best barbecue chefs compete in the Montgomery
County Fair Barbecue Cook-Off. A dance, a variety of entertainment,
horseshoe pitching and even a chicken flying contest highlight
this party weekend at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds.

Old West Cattle drive starts this three day
event of shoot-outs, saloon girls, trail rides, live country
music and lots of good food. Held in the Old West town in
downtown Montgomery. Step back in time and enjoy the history
of this fine community.

will lead the way as we tour Lake Conroe and compete for prizes.

Cajun Catfish Festival |

From midday to late night you will enjoy the
five stages of live entertainment. You will enjoy your day,
browsing the craft booths, eating fried alligator, crawfish
gumbo and many other mouth watering temptations. Bring the
children and let them pet the Borden's Cow then take them
over to the carnival for some family fun on the rides. There
will be something for everyone to enjoy. Bring two cans of
food for the Friends of Conroe Food Bank and receive a savings
on your entrance ticket.
